Billy Kyle
As the founder of Atmos Aerial Solutions, Billy has been flying drones for over four years. His passion for cinematography began in high school and rapidly evolved into a niche of aerial imagery with the purchase of his first drone in 2016. Upon graduating from Saint Joseph’s University as a part of the class of 2020, Billy set his sights on building Atmos into the company that it is today.
Billy handles most of the work at Atmos from operating drones, to shooting interior images, to editing and data management. He has a vast history of content creation through his large YouTube channel that features well over 500 videos, consisting of tutorials and reviews that focus on drone technology. These videos have collectively amassed 0ver 20 million views with an incredible amount of positive feedback. This further enhances his skillset when flying drones and efficiently working with clients. His number one priority is safety on the job, and as the head pilot of Atmos Aerial Solutions, is fully certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). He has a full understanding of the drone regulations that are ever changing to ensure every flight complies with the FAA’s rules.
In a market where drones are finding new uses everyday, different aircraft are called upon for different scenarios. In his two years of flying drones, Billy has gained experience with a variety of different aerial platforms that are used for inspections, mapping, and thermal imaging. His own personal fleet is used on most jobs and can tackle any job that demands aerial imagery. As new technology emerges in the drone industry, Billy is able to stay on top of ground breaking changes with his strong connections to leaders of the drone industry, such as DJI, Autel, and Yuneec, to deliver aerial solutions before his competitors can.
Seeing an obvious demand in the market, Billy transitioned Atmos into a full-scale, professional imaging firm, combining aerial images with ground images. This allows past, current, and future clients to receive a full collection of images for any project they need captured.
As a young entrepreneur with little personal time, Billy likes to travel the country in the time that is not spent studying, editing videos, or interacting with clients. On these adventures, he brings along his smaller drones to capture the beauty of his findings. This allows him to always stay sharp when piloting unmanned aircraft and continue to refine his skills through photo and video editing.
